SCM Profiset 60

With impressive working capacity of 230 x 120 mm, the SCM Profiset 60 is a powerful four sided planer moulder available with 4, 5 or 6 heads and a host of options to configure the machine to your particular production needs.

Cast iron tables mounted on a rigid steel base minimises vibration throughout the machine. Spindles are mounted in a 100 mm diameter cast iron housing, running on 85 mm diameter bearings mounted 215 mm apart to ensure maximum stiffness and precision.

In its standard configuration, the working capacity adjustments of the Profiset 60 are manually set using conveniently located mechanical digital readouts with decimal precision on the front of the machine. The patented “SET UP” quick adjustment system is included on the right and left vertical spindles for quick set up between tool changes.

Profiset 60EP models include “EASY PLUS” electronic control with overhead 7” LCD colour display. This system features automatic powered adjustment of the near side vertical spindle and top horizontal spindle as well as the feed speed for fast, precision setting. Once set, the head positions and feed speed can be saved and recalled for repeat work.

All SCM Profiset 60 models feature 40 mm diameter spindles. Customers can utilise their existing tooling (subject to suitability) or select from a range of tooling packs including conventional HSS cutterblocks, TERSA quick change knives or spiral insert blocks.
