Minimise downtime, stay PUWER compliant, and extend the life of your equipment with scheduled service plans tailored to your machinery.
Daltons provides planned maintenance and breakdown support designed to minimise downtime, maintain compliance and protect long-term machine performance. Our service programmes are tailored to your machinery, operating environment and production demands supporting everything from modern CNC systems to classical equipment.
In demanding production environments, unplanned downtime is costly, disruptive and often avoidable. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) helps identify issues early, maintain accuracy and ensure machinery remains safe and compliant.
[01]
Identify wear, fatigue and emerging faults before they cause unplanned stoppages.
[02]
Maintain machinery in a safe condition, supported by documented inspections and records.
[03]
Preventative maintenance reduces major repair costs and extends machine life.
[04]
Well-maintained machinery is safer to operate and more consistent in performance.
Regulation 5 of PUWER requires that every employer shall ensure that work equipment is maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair; where any machinery has a maintenance log, the log is kept up to date. Cited in Safe use of work equipment – Provision and use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 Approved code of Practice and guidance – Regulation 5 Maintenance.
Every Daltons service visit is carried out by experienced engineers and structured to deliver practical value, not just a checklist.

Wayne in the parts department is amazing, he always really takes the time to help us with our old Wadkin machines and has helped keep our fledgling woodshed alive. Cannot praise this company enough. Not only have they been building superb machines for decades but they also back them up with awesome customer service."
Anthony Cooper
Really good and helpful team. The Kimla machines they resell are tough as nails and usually never go wrong. The service tech Bob is great to talk to and does an excellent Job and anytime I have to call Sam Hewitt he sorts me out quickly. Definitely a company that selling you a machine is only half the story and the support you get just keeps you coming back.”
Liam Taylor
Bought a SCM spindle ti120e moulder and from first contact about machine I had excellent help from information about the machine to helping with delivery. Machine arrived on day required on a suitable lorry for access to my workshop, driver was more then helpful to get old machine out and new in - he did more than he had to. I have had machines from other companies but by far this has been the best service by far and would recommend using Daltons. Thank you Alex.”
