SCM Minimax ST 4E

The SCM Minimax ST 4E is a combination machine featuring circular saw and spindle moulder.

Circular Saw

The ST 4E features a 360 mm wide 2250 mm long aluminium sliding table. The large 1200 x 650 mm squaring frame features an idle roller for loading/ unloading panels, and a telescopic crosscut mitre fence with 2 flip turnover stops.

Rip fence adjustment is smooth and precise with micrometric adjustment and cam-locking system. The main fence support is cast iron for high rigidity. For added operator comfort and improved dust extraction the standard riving knife mounted crown guard can be upgraded to the optional overhead protection.

The 315 mm maximum blade diameter with manual rise, fall and tilt adjustments has a projection of 100 mm at 90°.

The ST 4E can be configured with optional increased table strokes and rip fence capacities for processing standard panel sizes. When cutting faced material the optional scoring unit is ideal for producing high quality results and is available as a belt driven unit or with independent motor.

Spindle moulder

Manual rise and fall spindle adjustment. Adjustable spindle moulder fence with micrometric adjustment, vertical and horizontal pressures. As an option, the ST 4E can be configured with a spindle moulder fence with 3 controlled adjustments - the fence uses a rack guide and it is fitted with a mechanical digital readouts for precise, repeatable setting.

The ST 4E can be further configured with a number of options including tilting spindle, digital readouts for fence positions, tenoning table and more.
