SCM DMC SD 60

The SCM DMC SD 60 is a versatile, heavy duty wide belt sander available in working widths of 1100 and 1350mm with either a single or twin head configuration (M2 model), or triple head configuration (M3 model).

A choice of roller and combination roller/ pad head sequences allow the SD 60 to finish to two or three grit sizes in a single pass. A choice of rubber coated rollers and grooved steel rollers with diameters between 120 to 320mm further hone the sanders ability for both calibration and finishing work.

DMC has a long history of sanding innovation and experience. Engineers have developed three pre-configured option packs to set the machine up for the highest level of finishing when working with solid timber, veneered panels and painted materials.

For heavy duty calibration operations the SCM SD 60 is available with a dedicated “HPL” planning head featuring a spiral knife block. After planning the workpiece can be finished with a further one or two grits depending on the head configuration.
