The Reinecker WZS 800 is a high-performance CNC tool grinding machine designed for the efficient production of precision cutting tools in medium to large batch sizes. Positioned at the top of the Reinecker tool grinding range, the WZS 800 is engineered for manufacturers who demand maximum productivity, process stability and long autonomous running times.

Built around a rigid polymer concrete machine base, the WZS 800 offers excellent vibration damping, thermal stability and dimensional accuracy — even during extended production cycles. High-power, liquid-cooled direct drives on the grinding spindle and rotary axes ensure consistent performance when machining complex tool geometries in solid carbide and HSS.

The machine is equipped with advanced CNC control technology via the NUM Flexium+ platform, combined with NUMROTOplus® programming software featuring 3D simulation and collision detection. This provides a powerful yet intuitive environment for programming, setup and process optimisation.

With large grinding wheel magazines, integrated dressing solutions and a wide range of automation options — including pallet systems and robotic loading — the WZS 800 is designed for long unattended operation and repeatable, high-quality results.
