The Wadkin ECA is a compact yet highly capable single-end tenoning machine, designed for fast, accurate and repeatable tenon production in professional woodworking environments. Built to Wadkin’s renowned heavy-duty standards, the ECA is ideal for joinery, door, window and furniture manufacturing.
This 4-head configuration allows the machine to produce complete tenons—including shoulders and scribing—in a single pass, significantly improving productivity and consistency. As highlighted in the original Wadkin literature, the ECA is designed to machine tenons, scribe shoulders and cut to length in one operation, reducing handling time and increasing throughput .
Each head is direct motorised and fully enclosed, delivering reliable power and long-term durability, while the machine’s heavy construction ensures stability and accuracy even under continuous use. The inclusion of LCP tooling provides efficient cutting performance and a high-quality finish.
Designed for ease of operation, the machine features accessible adjustments and smooth table movement, enabling operators to quickly set up for different components and maintain consistent results across production runs.
