Breakdown & Aftercare

An aftercare and support services division combined with the company's engineering facilities provides comprehensive assistance to users of woodworking machinery throughout the length and breadth of the UK and overseas. A team of 20 fully trained mechanical and electrical engineers backed by an administration department employing computer technology is available to go anywhere at any time to support not only machines which the company has supplied but also provide breakdown assistance and service contracts. Equipped with a fleet of instantly recognisable branded vans which penetrate all parts of the UK including 'highlands and islands' and of course the Irish Republic, Daltons use their wealth of experience and partnerships with many of the best known machine manufacturers in keeping both individual machines and complete workshops running smoothly.

Spare Parts

Replacement parts supply and manufacture is of course an important part of this service and again using their in-house engineering facilities there is little that the company cannot provide. Tooling for woodworking machines of all types can be supplied, stocks being held at their Nottingham headquarters, but the company also arranges direct overnight deliveries from manufacturer to customer.

Upgrading & PUWER98

Upgrading and modifying existing machinery is another important task carried out by the Support Services Division. Daltons supply and install electrical braking systems for virtually any type of machine as well as having the capacity to rebuild or fully service customers' machines when required.

Installation & Commissioning

Installation and commissioning of machinery is provided by the support services team. Any equipment purchased from Daltons can not only be delivered, offloaded and positioned but also installed and fully commissioned ready for use.
