Surfacers, Planers and Jointers are one and the same. Surface Planers skim the surface of timber leaving a smooth flat finish that can then provide a reference prior to further processing in a thicknesser or spindle moulder for example. Equipped with long tables a dedicated Surface Planer provides stability and control over a work piece. The discerning difference between models of Surface Planers is the width of the tables, denoting the capacity of the machine. As an alternative to the standard 4 knife cutter block TERSA cutter blocks are available on all new Surface Planers offering quick and easy knife changes.
