New Machines / Sawbenches
Sawbenches, designed for ripping solid timber, are distinguished largely by the size of blade and therefore the capacity at which they can cut. All Sawbenches are equipped with a rip fence and a sliding table is usually an available extra for crosscutting and small panel work. The saw blade can be raised, lowered and tilted to 45 degrees. Any of the Sawbenches listed can be made to confirm to BS:4163-2007 regulations for use in education. If you are looking to process panels you may wish to consider a Sliding Table Panel Saw or Vertical Panel Saw as these are designed for this very purpose with the addition of scoring blades and increased support for large work pieces.
