New Machines / Planers (Combination)
Planer Thicknessers are an amalgamation of two vitally important machines for any workshop; the surface planer or jointer, and the thicknesser. Having both of these machines combined into one single Planing and Thicknessing unit frees up valuable space and saves money on buying two separate machines. The sacrifice is that only one man can operate either function at any one time, and the top tables for surfacing/ jointing are often shorter than normal. Planer Thicknessers often get around this by having longer upper tables that lift up to allow easy access to the Thicknesser.
