Wadkin Series 5 1300C Widebelt Sander
The Wadkin Series 5 C range of Wide Belt Sanders is an overall larger and more heavy duty machine than the smaller Series 3. With an increase in roller diameter from 120 mm to 160 mm, larger power motors and available in widths 630 mm, 910 mm, 1100 mm and 1300 mm with a single combination head (roller and pad) the Series 5 is versatile while maintaining reliability and ease of use.
An infrared sensor ensures that the conveyor belt is always centred on the rollers. Belt tensioning is by compressed air. An easy to use work piece thickness sensor positions the table automatically for quick through put. All machines are available with a host of options including segmented pad, vacuum belt for the conveyor, increased motor powers, touchscreen controls, planing block for heavy calibration are to name but a few.
