Greda Sprinter 5 Axis CNC Router
Greda are a family run company based in Italy offering solutions tailored to specific production requirements.
Sprinter is a numerically controlled machining centre with interpolating 6 axes movement, capable of producing everything from tables and stairs to furniture and musical instruments. A sturdy and robust welded frame ensures stability throughout the bridge structure. Along the bridge runs the operating head(s) with X, Z, A and C axes movement. The moving table(s) provide the Y axis movement. The linear movements are driven through four contact track recycling ball running on hardened, high precision ground prismatic guides, and through brushless motors connected to ball spindles. The X and Z axis use lead nut and screw. The work table(s) can be configured with matrix beds, or sliding pods and cups. 4 motors can be sited on the head with up to 12 position tool capacity. Numeric control comes from ESA type (OSAI on request) system accessed through a touch screen display. Remote support is also available.
