The DSXE range has all the features of the DSX model, increased depth of cut to 80 mm, pneumatic saw plunge, etc, but an automated saw cycle.

An automated cutting cycle takes the effort out of panel sizing. With a touch of a button the machine will position the saw head, plunge, cut and return to the start of the cycle. This can prove invaluable when cutting larger panels or tougher materials.

The Elcon DSXE is available in three standard frame sizes:-

155 frame size - 3300 x 1550 mm maximum cutting capacity

185 frame size - 3300 x 1850 mm maximum cutting capacity

215 frame size - 4300 x 2150 mm maximum cutting capacity

A dedicated scoring unit is a retrofittable option on the DSXE but the standard double-cut scoring system is standard ( a limited saw plunge depth enables a back cut followed by a full plunge resulting in a scored finish).

As with all Elcon models the DS features a pneumatic shifting support frame - when cutting horizontally it is sometimes necessary to move the material support strips out of the cutting line. This is done automatically on all Elcon models, ensuring no damage is caused to the machine.
