Elcon D Vertical Panel Saw
The D series is the entry level machine in the extensive Elcon Vertical Panel Saw portfolio. Taking the same frame design and construction found on all Elcon machines the D has been specified with a single package of options keeping the price as economic as possible while maintaining full functionality.
The Elcon D is available in four frame sizes:-
135 frame size - 2700 x 1350 mm maximum cutting capacity
155 frame size - 3300 x 1550 mm maximum cutting capacity
185 frame size - 3300 x 1850 mm maximum cutting capacity
215 frame size - 4300 x 2150 mm maximum cutting capacity
The D model is capable of cutting single or multiple sheets up to a thickness of 60 mm. A double-cut scoring system is standard offering a limited saw plunge depth enabling a back cut followed by a full plunge resulting in a scored finish.
As with all Elcon models the D features a pneumatic shifting support frame - when cutting horizontally it is sometimes necessary to move the material support strips out of the cutting line. This is done automatically on all Elcon models ensuring no damage is caused to the machine.
